RSSHow to change the default port of Storage Server.
Default port of DataBK Storage Server is 6001
Default port of DataBK SQL Backup Agent is 6000
If you get a conflict on these ports ,you can change it by using Backup Agent Manager or Storage Server Manager.
Following instruction is an example of changing default port for Storage Server , (if you need to change port of SQL Backup Agent , please click here.)
1 ) . Open Storage Server Manager by clicking "Start->Programs->SQL Server Backup 8->Storage Server->Storage Server Manager" , then click "Stop" button to stop Storage Server service .
2) . Turn to "Settings" tab , and change the default port , It is very important to click "Save" button to save new settings.
3) . Turn back to first tab and click "Start" button to restart SQL Server Backup Agent service.
4) . After change default port ,you have to also change the port number storge in "Backup Manager". see following :
