I have trouble to delete the old files. Back
There are 3 typies of files or data can be deleted automatically by SQL Server Backup program: History job records , log files and backups .
For job records and log files , you can speceify in "Actions->Catalog Pure" menu.
For older backups , you need to specified in job setting .because these files belong to a job.
Please note that:
All these actions are executed at the end of job. If no job runs , it will not delete the aged files automatically.
