SQL Server Backup Agent runs as system service after the program is installed.  The service display name is "DataBK SQL Backup Agent" , and the start mode is set to "Automatic". You can find it in Windows' service manager console.

Start / Stop : Start or stop Remote Storage service here , you can also start or stop it in system service manager.
Auto-start service when OS start : If this option is selected  , storage server start mode is configured to "Automatic" , or it's start mode is "Manual" .
