Backup created by SQL Server Backup software can be convert to raw backup  , so that you can restore database from Enterprise Manager or Management Studio.

Converted backup file has extension ".msbk"  .

To perform backup converting :

1 . Select a backup device that contains the backups you want to convert:

2 . After select the source device , all backups in device will be listed in following list view , you just select backup that you want to convert.

3 . Select a target device for saving output data.

4 .If the backup needs passwords to decrypt data , just enter them .

5 . Click "Convert" button to submit the convert job.
